Only one question. If we own Socrates, where can we get a copy of 2.0. I would be happy to beta test a copy.

    Cheers
    Michael

  2. Scott Colby says:

Hi. I don’t own Socrates yet, but can you show an example of the Squeeze Theme and Sales Page Theme?

Will we have the capability of making video squeeze pages?

    Thank you.

    Scott

  3. Dan Nickerson says:

Scott, for now just picture our current design without headers or sidebars… We’ll be adding more template designs soon, but right now they are really basic.

  4. Wayne says:

Hi I know your theme has the option to add a META widget that will display an RSS feed url but if I want a larger RSS subscribe/feeds button/link near the top header graphics somewhere is this possible?

AND your new no sidebar template means that I can have a page with only a header graphic and my content, is this correct?

Lastly can you mail me how your theme makes use of all the necessary meta tags?

    Thanks

    • Dan Nickerson says:

Wayne, it’s already built into our social media slider on layout tab.. Just enter your feed. There are also RSS/Social media plugins that will add RSS graphics to sidebar. And yes to no-sidebar template. There’s a meta tag form in our layout section, and we recommend the all in one seo pack for the rest of meta tags on your site.

  5. Mike says:

    Hi Dan and Joel,

Very grateful for the ease of use of Socrates. As I get more familiar with it, the more excited I get about penetrating other niches. Since my brain is a 62 year old brain, it is not particularly adept at intuitively using wordpress, so I have to learn through repeating mistakes. But not with your training videos and tutorials. One thing I have not been able to find though is how to make the blog roll show local connections in my market. I am really hoping to develop leads for my wife’s social work practice and having my blogroll show local charities and websites would be great for local search, I think. Can you point me to that tutorial? I anticipate affiliate sales for me as my stock rises locally too, can you imagine 500 blogs in Rockford, Illinois for small businesses using the Socrates theme? If you are offering critiques, please have at it, and thanks again. Mike Logan

    • Dan Nickerson says:

Add links to blogroll using the “Links” tab, then use Appearance > Widgets to move a “Links” widget to sidebar to display links.

  6. Hamilton says:

    Hello Dan,

Can i use socrates on WP MU?

  7. John says:

What’s the width of the Sales Page? I like a width of about 650px for sales page content.

Full 960px width is just too much.

Perhaps you have somewhere I can see the sales page template?

    • Dan Nickerson says:

John, in our initial template it’s 960, we’ll be releasing more templates with smaller sizing soon.

  8. Rob says:

This sounds great. So can I make easily create a video squeeze page with Socrates 2?

  9. Kintaro says:

Does your theme support nested navigation bars?

    • Dan Nickerson says:

Our navigation bars have their own unique benefits, but they don’t support drop down navigation. We are adding a mod this
month so that customers can replace the primary navbar with a drop down menu if they like. It just won’t have our new window
      and no follow options.
