The Socrates Forum is Live

We’re ready to launch our member and support forum.

http://www.socratestheme.com/forum/

We will be providing most of our support on the forum beginning tonight.

While we will still respond to comments here we’ll be cleaning up the comments relating to Version 1 issues to prevent confusion.

Unfortunately due to issues with our membership script we are not able to easily integrate the user databases, so we do ask that you register a new account at the forum.

Anyhow, join us on the forum.

It would be helpful if the 2.01 version was setup to upgrade previous versions. When I upload… it tries to install in same file location as Socrates 2.0 and thus fails.

  2. Dan Nickerson says:

Steve, we have instruction on how to upgrade. It’s just a matter of activating another theme, deleting socrates and reuploading.

    Hi,

    Great work!

Not sure where my problem is but the header on the home page keeps overlapping the body about 1/4 of an inch.

Also the bottom of the page is not showing. Only on the home page which in my case is the post page.

    Thank you for your time.

    Robert

Robert, looks like an extra div tag.. check out the Hybrid Bikes post.. you have an unclosed div in the html of that post.. it’s causing the issue.

Where is the info on creating squeeze pages with Socrates?

  6. admin says:

Arlene, there’s basic info on the socrates splash page inside your dashboard, just “add new page” and select squeeze template. But honestly.. We’re releasing Version 2.03 tomorrow and I’ll have new tutorials tomorrow for the release. Because the squeeze pages were part of the beta, I was waiting until final release for videos.

Hi guys thanks for a great tool. I have an suggestion that can make this tool even better, make it so images can be added resized on the header selected. This would expand the header list we have.
