Photos can't be linked

Hi I have aproblem with adding a link to an image. it is happeniong with all my new sites with or without the plugins activated

as example on this site http://www.aucklandsurveying.co.nz/ if you click the photo of the guy with the survey equipment on the home page it goes to a new web page. If I change the HTML code or add a link in visual mode it won't save and keeps defaulting back to this page below

How can i add a alink and save it please or at least stop the new page appearing as it make sno sense to have apge like this http://www.aucklandsurveying.co.nz/need-a-surveyor/attachment/auckland-surveying-surveying-1/

Try this.....

Go to the WP Pages list and find your "Who Needs a Surveyor?" page.

In Visual mode, right click on your photo and then click on the left link (edit).

At the bottom of the resulting panel is a link URL field. Put your link there.

Update & test.

Let me know if this works.
