View Full Version : Youtube Account Banned

I know this is not really socrates related but I just had my youtube account terminated for violating terms. It was because of video promoting my sites http://sportsbettingchamps.org and http://getviewsyoutube.com
My question is, I thought that was unfair as there are other videos promoting the same affiliate products as those two sites/videos are promoting. Any suggestions what I can do? Also, I am now worried about those two actual websites...Do you think they are safe? Google obviously sees the sports betting champ as a spam and a scam and the get views youtube one maybe in copyright...Any suggestions? Shall I take them down? They are both doing well in the search rankings..and I dont want to take them down...but?

My guess would be that many sites like Google and Youtube frown on gambling sites. Also could be of ToS violation with getting youtube views. They may see that as artificially getting views and trying to beat the system. Like buying Likes and Followers on FB and Twitter.

The fact others are not banned, doesn't mean they are following the ToS either. Just haven't been caught yet.

What about the websites themselves...Do you think I should take them down and not promote those products?

Up to you. The worst thing that Google can do to you is to de-list those sites. If you have a source of traffic other than Google it would not matter.
