Custom Headers stopped allowing uploads.
Thought maybe I had to many uploaded and since there was no way to delete custom headers. I went outside of WP into file directory and deleted the unwanted headers out of the Socrates UPLOADS folder.

Went back into socrates, tried to upload new headers. No luck.

Went back into Uploades folder, saved 2 new headers in there.

Both new headers now show up in socrates, BUT you can't click on any headers now and get them to activate.

please advise.

1. How to get custom headers to activate
2. How many custom headers can yo have in there.
3. How to delete custom hedears once in there.

thanks
Norm

Can you let us know what version of Socrates and Wordpress you're using.. and also can your url?

And by any chance did you change the directory name from: socrates

It has to be just: socrates

You can only delete them via FTP, and you can upload unlimited headers.

I am using ver. 2.92 WP and Brian sent me the headers for halloween and they won't load. I can't unzip and zip too confusing, they are in zip format and that is how I upload socrates no problem. The headers are in zip format and it won't load. So frustrating....now I have to switch themes back bec this is not working.

You have to unzip the files to your hard drive first... Our header upload doesn't support zip files, only .jpg, .png, or .gif

Sorry for any confusion.. You can upload the Socrates zip, but not an image zip into headers.. You should have an unzipping program on your computer to extract the files if not check out. http://www.7-zip.org

Great free program... an unzipping program is really essential.

Just install 7 zip, then right click on halloween zip file and use 7 zip to extract.
