Featured Content Gallery

Hi,,

I installed the Featured Content Gallery Plugin and I don't know where should I add the following code

<?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>


I want it to show only in the home page.

There are a couple of ways of doing this.

One is to edit the Socrates header.php file and add this code manually, and then remember to update it when you change or update the theme.

The second, which would be my preferred method, is to install the Header-Footer plugin and add the code to the relevant section in the plugin admin area.

Thanks for the tip on the plugin unfortunately it didn't work.

I also try adding the code <?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?> in the header and it messed up all the website.

I also tried adding the code into the index.php file and it worked, but it shows the gallery on all the pages not only in my home page and I only want it to be in my home page.

Any suggestions?

If the code is added correctly in the header there is hardly any way that it can mess up the site as it ir purely a php include, unless when the code was copied and pasted extra characters were added by your system which somtimes happens.

If you want to PM me a temporary login for your WP admin and FTP I can take a look for you.

Compusol, I tried using the header-footer plugin as well...didn't work. I did paste the code into the header.php...but now the featured content gallery shows on every page.

Any advice on how I can get this plugin to work on ONLY the home page?

Just a new site I'm working on for a friend....

As you can see...it's not lined up right...
How do I fix that...and how do I get it to show up only
on the home page?
