Socrates Custom Fields Disappearing
Hi there,
I noticed when loading "edit posts" in WP there is a big list of items in the "Socrates Custom Field" section. The list disappears when the page is completely loaded. Instead I find only one option in posts and nothing in pages.
Is this a bug?
Many Thanks
Martin

I get the same behavour as well with FF3.6 and WP3.01

There should only be one option in posts, but there are multiple in pages. I'll move this to a bug report. It is showing the page options for a split second, and is probably a simple fix.

where's the "custom field" below the edit page?
Dear admin
sorry for my language barrier
so I ask the question directly to seek efficient problem solving way...
I want to set my wp blog as a membership driven site
and I intalled a plugin named "WP-members"
and it needs "custom field "that could show "name" and "value" for me
to add some texts to function completely, but I never find it,
where's it?
Many thanks
Manny

I always recommend you check with the plugin author's site before posting here as this is unrelated to Socrates.
For this problem is sounds like "custom fields" is unchecked in Screen Options at top of your post/page editor.

thank you
I've found out where the problem is as your suggestion, thank you
and sorry for my inappropriate posting and dopey opration of WP

Socrates custom fields
When will this bug actually be fixed??
-
It should only be seen for a split second, and it's just our options loading up via our functions file before displaying correctly for the post/page type.
If you have a really slow host then it might show longer than a second, but this has really not been an issue, and most customers don't even notice it.

It's not a bug, that's how it was coded. We only wanted you to see specific options for different post types. It has to load all of the options, and then we hide specific ones.
This has been completely re-done in our next major version that we're going to be blessing you with soon, so keep an eye out for it.
