Delete Uploaded Headers
Searched a few times for this one in the forum with no success:
Is there a way to delete headers we've uploaded? I've created my own, and while experimenting uploaded a few that I now want to delete. Can't see a delete function in the "Header" section of the dashboard.

I believe you will need to use FTP to delete the ones you no longer want.

Thank you for the quick reply, Lynnth. Unfortunately, I need the kindergarten version of your reply. (Wingin' all this Internet stuff!) Does this mean that with GoDaddy, I go into the files and look for the headers I want to delete?

Yes If you are not familiar with FTP programs like Filezilla the next best thing is the file manager application through your hosting company control panel. GoDaddy does have a file manager that you can use to navigate down to the uploaded headers directory and delete the one you no longer need.

Fabulous! Thank you, Lynnth!

Also aside from taking about a tiny amount of space in your hosting account, there's really no reason to delete the headers.
Once you've got your header set, odds are you won't be using the header panel again for a long time.

Thank you, Dan. I wondered about that. I'll just leave them alone unless I have a reason to fool around in those files.
