How to change display text "Category"

how to change the display text "categories" into other writings as we want in wordpress?




Does anyone know and Have these experiences before??

If you're referring to the sidebar, just drag new widgets to primary sidebar to override our defaults and change the "widget" title for categories

I tried to get rid of the category "uncategorized" by just unchecking it. No luck. I also tried to add a category with the same method - no luck.

I was into posting from my dashboard.

Go to the categories page and simply delete the category. If you have any posts that are assigned to that category you will need to change them to a different category first.

Went to dashboard - opened up posts - clicked categories - reassigned one and only post - saved - it happened!
