Hey Dan, I was thinking for my site www.guitarfornewbies.net it would be cool that when someone went to the site it opened with a quick guitar rif or chord. Not a long solo, just a quick, attention getting guitar sound. How is that done?

It used to be people would use an embed src piece of code with a wave file, but these days that can pop an error on your site when loaded.

Just look for "audio" plugins.. there are loads that might work for you.

Cool thanks. I looked for a plugin and ended up using an amazon widget. That way not only can they hear music, but its only if they want to and when they click it to play the music, they can buy the mp3.

Hi,
how can I place a small audio player in the menu bar with the three typical control buttons 'play' 'pause' and 'stop' ?
Once my visitors get on my home page I'd like to have an audio file playing automatically, but how can I integrate it into the menu bar ?

If you're talking about in primary navigation bar, you'll need to find an audio player that provides you with hard code and then tweak it like Adsense code in this post. http://www.socratestheme.com/forum/s...adding-adsense
