    Default Header Text Color

    For some reason my header text color is showing white on the home page even though I have coded a color in the header settings, but it does go to the color I have in the setting when you go to another page. Then back to white when you return to the home page. Any thoughts?

    Wp Super Cache is most likely enabled.

    Deactivate and reload browser.

    Very strange and title color changes when you click on About page or posts. Do you have any header related plugins installed?

    No, just the normal, the only graphical plugins are social sharing types (fblike, sharethis, etc.) and maybe a random ad rotator...

    Actually, I think I know the issue.. due to some changes we made in header code.. the other pages are hyperlinked back to home page.. hence the link color..

    By any chance did you change the css link color in style.css manually?

    No, and I just tried it on a clean test install with no plugins (accept for the pre-installed, I even deleted WP Super Cache). Changed the Permalink for the names and loaded Socrates. Created a new header and text, styling changes, saved all, and I get the same result. White color on the home page text title, and the color I chose on other pages. Interesting note, if I change the color of the subtitle / tagline, it works correctly on all pages.

    Weird that I am the only one with this issue? I use HostGator, fairly standard, and Windows 7, Fantastico for WordPress, Firefox, etc. What's different?

    Remove this line from the style.css file and it should work:

    Code:
    .titleText h1		{ color:#FFF;}
