WordPress Default Setting

Just a little FYI. I use Hostgator and Fantastico to install my WP onto my domains. I have noticed in the last 2 installs a default setting I have not seen done before.

Its a search engine block setting. Assuming most of us are wanting to be seen by search engines we need to change to the other option of letting everyone see us. If this happens to you, in your WP dashboard next to you blog name you will see in smaller letters: search engine blocked.

In your WP dashboard Settings>Privacy and then just choose the box for everyone to see you, save changes.

Follow up: The more I thought about this setting, it was probably put in there so you had a chance to fully build the site before search engines could see it. Then you could change that setting.
