Default Embedding the desired size utube video

    Hi dear friends,

I need help. I wish to embed a video as such I placed the html codings in the text box after slotting it into the sidebar under widget.

However, due to the size of that video, it cannot be viewed as a whole due to the small width, as such majority of the potion was being blocked by that column.

Can anyone teach me how can I allow my video to be seen completely irregardless of the size, in the sidebar/primary bar etc.

    Your regards,
    Benjamin Blues

What is the size of the sidebar you are using? What is the source of the video? If you embedding from youtube, they have easy options that automatically changes the code depending on what size you need.

The size of the sidebar is 180 by 150... which is enough to allocate a string of short sentences - which i use for my categories.

Oh, I dont understand the part where you said if I embed from utube directly, they will automatically adjust my column size.

I did get the code directly from the utube embed... which I then paste it in the widget text... but due to the small size of the column... my video is somehow cut by 3/4

Sorry I meant the sidebar length is 180. I chosen the layout with the 2 sidebars by the side...

In Youtube once you click the embed button it gives you some options for sizing. It also gives you a box to enter custom sizes. You would have to manually put the sizes in those boxes.

Now the issue doesn't lie in the youtube options. I had no problem configuring the video size over there.

It's just that after I manually pasted that modified code in the widget (text) under the sidebar, what it shows in my webpage thereafter is the video not being able to view it completely.... it had been cut off due to the small width of the sidebar width which is only 150.

In the embed code there is a specification for the displayed height and width. Just edit these numbers to fit.

Yes, that is what I was saying in the YouTube gives you blank boxes so you can enter whatever sizes you want.
