Just a quick note to share about the ease and power of Socrates. My blog erichiatt.net is now PR2 and one of my other sites, ighosthunt.com is a PR1.

To me this is an accomplishment. For months I stared at that 0/10 and now I have some movement.

So stick with it, deliver value and content and the rest takes care of itself!

UPDATE. One of my first Socrates sites, www.GuitarForNewbies.net is now a PR4. I must say even I am surprised!

Pagellan just jumped from Pr2 to Pr5 overnight..

Yeah there must have been updates, had some other sites jump up to a 0 or 2 and my own personal blog went from a 2 to a 1. I did see that Pagellan jumped up to 5, very cool.

Another Google suprise...my guitar site is now a PR N/A I must have a mistake when I was given PR4.

Mine's still Pr5... weird.

Must have been some glitch with that browser add on I use on my computer at the fire station. At home on my new laptop, guitar site is back to PR4.

PR = Google Pagerank

Just Google "what is google pagerank" to learn more.

Google will rank your page from 0 to 10. To give you an idea on some sites, google.com is a 10, facebook.com is a 10 I believe twitter is a 9. So for us to be getting 4's and 5's is pretty good. If you get back links from sites with higher PR, that back link will carry more weight.
