Install version 1+ or 2.02 Beta?

Hi;

I just bought the Socrates theme. Do I upload & instsall 1.0+ or the Beta version since I have absolutely no experience with Socrates or any other themes for that matter.

I would say go ahead with the beta. Even though there have been a few issues with browser compatibility in the dashboard, most if not all have been addressed. And the extra capability is worth it.

I second that, if you started with v1.0 you would have to change them all over again, least you should. I myself am waiting for the final v2 before I go any further.

B4 I forget, the ad box in you fire fighter site (http://www.screencast.com/t/NTVjOTQzN) is it part of the Socrates features or did you have a different plug-in to do that for you?

I would suggest you go with the latest 2.0 beta. It has a lot of improvements over the 1.X version and has a lot of known plugin/bug issues fixed that were a problem in 1.X

I have just downloaded the 2.0 beta. I haqve just this minute installed wp via fantastico on my domain.

I will go get some food now and after thyat, tackle the Socrates installation. Will let you all know how I'm getting on.
