Activation error
I turned off all plugins and uploaded Sacrates. It said installation complete, "activate" I did this and it said it was activated. I then went to layouts and got a "Activation Error: Unknown activation code, please double check your code and try again." msg. I deleted the Sacrates theme, went to your website and downloaded 2.1 to make sure the download was good. Then re-installed Sacrates with the same result. I checked here in the forum and on your site and don't see it mentioned? Need a little help! Thanks!

Double check that there are no extra spaces in the code when you copy and paste it. Sometimes it will catch an extra space at the front or end of the code.

I don't see any spaces, this is what's there -
@charset "utf-8";
/* CSS Document */
/*
Theme Name: Socrates
Theme URI: http://www.socratestheme.com
Description: Premium WP Theme with Advanced Customization Features
Version: 2.10
Author: Flying Monkey Media, Inc.
Author URL: http://www.socratestheme.com

*/
/* ------------------------------------- Main Structure ------------------------------------------------------- */
body { background-color:#F4F4F4; margin:0;
font-size: 9pt;
font-family: 'lucida grande', Verdana, Sans-Serif;
}
/* no need to change the im-wrapper it simple allows everything to be centered */
.im-wrapper { width:100%; }
Don't know if this helps you? Thanks

The space Eric is referring to is in the activation code you pasted into the dashboard to activate your license.

I didn't see that, didn't prompt for activation code? This is all that was displayed at the top of the page
Installing Theme from uploaded file: socrates.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
Theme installed successfully.
Preview | Activate | Return to Themes page
-
If you then go to the WordPress dashboard there will be a place to paste your activation code.

Thank you! I had to click all around the activate box, but found where to put the code. I was expecting to see a box, underline, or prompt of some kind showing where to put the code?! Thanks again for your time and prompt help with this issue!
