Custom Menu's Widget
Using Socrates v 2.2.13 & WordPress 3.1
Layout: One sidebar on right
I was trying to put a custom menu widget with a custom menu of several pages in the side bar. When I do this, the site will not load giving me only a blank page.
If I remove the widget, everything is fine. I've tried this both with Socrates menus turned on and off.
The custom menu has customized names for the pages if that matters.
I can put a Pages widget in the same sidebar, telling it not to display certain pages. Works fine.
Is this a known issue? I've not had the problem with other themes.
It seems to only be happening with the home page. The pages themselves and the post pages display fine.

I can't duplicate. I setup right sidebar, and used custom menu widget and it appears fine on all pages.
Are you sure it's not a caching issue or plugin conflict?

No . . . I'm not sure. I'll check deeper.

Ok . . . it appears to be a conflict with a plugin. Dan Raine's WordPress Silo plugin. http://www.wordpresssiloplugin.com/
Turn it off and custom menus work fine in a sidebar widget. As this one site is the only place I use it, I don't know if it has anything to do with Socrates or not.
Thanks.
