Default How To Change Font Type and Size

How to change font type and size in a post? Also how we can change the color of text in a post?

This facility is available in the Editor of this Forum but I did not see how to make these changes in the WordPress.

I would appreciate your help in this regard.

If you're talking about the default sizing you need to change the style.css file in Appearance > Editor. If you're talking about on a per post basis, you just use the wysiwyg editor inside the post editor. Look for the icon that looks like a color palette.

Default There's a Plugin for that...

For the size change, I added TinyMCE as a replacement for the default RichText Widget.wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tinymce-advanced/

Still need to mess with css regarding spacing... there must be a style that allows linespacing to expand as a bigger font is used.

    Hi Mainebob,

I have downloaded TinyMCE plugin and installed in Socrates WP Theme 2.0. I did not get similar icons which Ryder (http://qualitynetdesign.com/wordpres...-of-your-blog/) has shown on his website. Specifically the 'Font Family' is missing. Any thoughts? Any pointer to resolve this problem.

    I would appreciate help. Thanks,

    M Jamil

I want existing and new text in posts to be bigger as a default. How to?

    Thanks!

    Bill,

The graphic is pointing to an icon on the far right you need to click, and it will then display the 2nd row of icons.

Make sure you're not in HTML mode but visual mode to see it.

If you changed the "body" font size in style.css and are not seeing the changes, then you might have wp super cache enabled.
