The Plato Framework - Beta testers needed
Our lead developer Tim has been working on a new wordpress framework the last few months and it's ready for beta testing.
The Plato Framework installs on your wordpress blog and comes with multiple child themes with different layouts and designs.
Designers and developers can use the framework to quickly create their own child themes with virtually any layout or design.
Plato the philosopher was actually a student of Socrates...
And like that relationship we've taken what we learned from Socrates and put it into Plato, however Plato is not a replacement for Socrates.
It's an entirely new product on a new site. There will be a Socrates inspired child theme inside Plato.
Original Socrates will live on here as well.
That being said.. I'm not going to answer questions about pricing, upgrades etc here on this thread so please don't ask.
I'm just looking for 10 beta testers who will play around with Plato.
As beta testers you'll get a free license to use Plato and the child themes if you give us feedback.
If you're interested please reply to this thread.

I'm in Dan. Will Plato be supported through this forum or will there be a separate one for Plato?
-
Thanks Lynn,
Most likely it will start on this forum and then be transitioned to its own forum later.. We believe keeping them separate will prevent a lot of confusion about the products.
I'll PM info within a couple of days on the beta.

I like to be a beta tester.
Thanks,
JR

Count me in. I don't if I will have to learn more from what I know now, but I'll do my best.
-
JR,
I appreciate the offer..
This is your first post on the forum and we're really looking for regular forum users, and customers we know.
As you can imagine it's a bit risky for us to give access to the beta to someone who we don't know.

Hi Dan,
I'm not in here a lot because I don't often feel the need but I look in every now and then to stay updated.
Is this offer still open? If so, I'd like to be a beta tester please.
BTW, I appreciate a philosophical outlook makes all that study at Uni seem almost relevant..LOL
Regards to all,
Jan

Hi Dan,
Thanks...looking forward to it.
BTW, have you had a look at Sean Donahoes latest product Extreme Niche Empires? It is the best I've come across in 6+ years online and I'd love to see the Socrates theme used in there rather than the Heatmap theme. Although heatmap is good, I prefer to use Socrates. So I am really looking forward to seeing what Plato is all about.

I saw the sales page but have not purchased the product.
