issue editing "Home" page
About a year ago, I created a "Home" page and set this page as the static landing page so when somebody types in my URL, it goes to that page (i.e., the permalink for that page is my URL: http://socialmediasvcs.com).
I tried to update the text today, but couldn't get it to do that. Every time I clicked on the "Update" button, it went to the "404" error page. On the "attributes" on the right-side of the page, it's on "no parent" (there isn't a choice for "Home" showing up on the drop-down menu), "Default" template.
I recently updated WordPress to 3.1.3 and also updated Socrates to 2.2.15.
Can somebody tell me why it's doing this and what I need to do to successfully edit the text of this page?
Thanks,
Becky

It sounds like a wordpress issue.
Have you searched Google?
http://www.google.com/search?q=page+...+wordpress+404
Seems to be a lot of results.

Thanks for your help with the source of the issue!
