I love Socrates Navigation don't do it.
-
I use 3.0 Menus already so that's fine
-
I don't care either way
-
It sucks, but I understand why you're doing it. I'll live.

Socrates 3.0 In Development
I'm pleased to announce that we've partnered with great new theme developer and will begin working on Socrates 3.0 shortly.
This will be a major update and will effect core functions. Meaning that upgrading could involve some extra setup with navigation and templates.
Some of the changes and new features you can expect to see.
- Much improved admin panel
- Cleaner and faster code
- Removal of Socrates Navigation system (3.0 Menus are now the norm) - See poll question
- End of free trial option and current activation system
- Improved container design, navigation bar and header area.
- Magazine style template
- Portfolio style template
- Featured Post Slider support
- Flexible width sidebars
- and more..
If you have some ideas for enhancements, fixes and new features for Socrates please reply to this thread.
I also posted a poll about Socrates navigation if you care to vote.

sorry

While the built in WP menu system may be becoming the norm, not all themes give a lot of style choice.
I'd love the ability to easily change the color, the height, the fonts, etc.

May I know when will it be finished this ?
-
When I know a completion date I will let customers know. I am shooting for early November.
You can already disable Adsense per post with Socrates 2.1+
We will add more menu customization options. Not sure about height though.

Good news!
Can we adjust the font size in the admin panel in the new version? I'd like to adjust the font size in posts and currently I make this adjustment in "editor". It's not a big deal, but if it's possible to adjust directly in admin maybe it'll be a bit more handy.

You can do that in the current version with the custom css tab.. takes 5 seconds.
I would not recommend changing the font size, but it's one of the features we're working on..
-
Yes "custom css tab" is a great tool.
The challenge is to find the relevant codes to edit so that I won't make it into a mess.
Say, I need to edit font-size under ".post p {}" not under other codes to make sure I just change the font size in posts. So does the font of navigation bars.
I use Socrates both on English and Chinese sites, the font size is a bit smaller than what Chinese people are accustomed to. That's why I adjust it. The default font size is good for English readers.
Thanks for your reply!
