What is status of magazine layout feature?

I have four posts and have tried to make it exactly as told in both the PDF and as told in the recorded video (webinar). Have the whole site set to maintenance mode and playing around with fake posts but still posts made as if they were real. Seems to me that there is something wrong with the slider technology - or perhaps some detail I have missed.
For sure, it does not work the way it is supposed to like here http://socratestheme.com/janbeta/magazine-one/ and I have hit the wall - what shall I do?

1. Share your link
2. Make sure you don't have a caching plugin enabled.
3. Make sure images are showing as featured images in posts.
3. Fill out a support ticket at: http://socratestheme.zendesk.com
4. Send your login info to either myself, Lynn or Fred via PM.

I have watched the webinar video I have read the PDF and I have four posts in a category named featured. yes the posts comes up as supposed but the slider does not work. I have hit the wall - what shall I do. To me it more and more looks like there is some kind of technical problem with the slider.
Should I perhaps update to the latest version, current is 3.1

You never sent a PM via the forum. I did just find your submission to my contact form on my personal website. It was yesterday morning though, not a few days ago, but 31 hours.

The 4th of July is a big holiday in my family so I took most of the day off and didn't check all my mail accounts.

So I have the login information, but you didn't give me the domain name of the site so I'm stuck.

Can you just click on my username and select Private Message to send it to me.

There is no help desk configured at this address. This means that the address is available and that you can claim it at http://www.zendesk.com/signup/

I have set up a new blog at - http://lassoman.net - just to be sure no old plugin is causing the problem. Now the portfolio seems to work as should and the magazines also but the slider does not and when I open either of the magazines all the posts there is are showed. Soon the only thing for me left to do is to refrain from using the magazine templates.

Try setting your permalinks to /%postname%/ The slug needs to be featured, not cat=4
