Arrrgh! I'm not much of a forum guy so I have two posts including this one. Guess I'll have to wait for the official release.

Just wondering if there is any update on this yet.

I'm waiting for code from two programmers. I'm sorry for the delay. Unfortunately delays happen which is why I'm always hesitant to give dates. I hope to release as soon as it's ready. Could be next day or two. Could be longer.. waiting on code.

Socrates 3.0 is now available for public beta.

The download is in the members area on the download page.

Most importantly remember that Socrates 3.0 no longer has Socrates navigation panels. You must setup wordpress menus.

    Hi Dan

Just went to upload the new beta version. I received the 'The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.' message so obviously I have to upload it via FTP.

Via FTP I can see: /primalhealth/wp-content/themes/socrates

Because I've changed so may things over the last couple of months within this folder, whats the best plan of attack in uploading the new theme?

For your circumstance, rename the original Socrates folder to Socrates-old. Then extract and upload socrates.

Because of all the changes you've made this would be the best way to make sure you can switch back if necessary.

We will obviously have to scale down the size of the zip if others have this issue.

    Dan--

uploaded 3.0 Beta to a test site http://atnbanglauk.com/ and have gotten this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function socrates_generate_nav_links() in /home/atnbangl/public_html/wp-content/themes/socrates/header.php on line 149
I uninstalled, downloaded again and reinstalled. Still getting that message.
I tried adding a header and that did not change anything when I went to view the site.
I also added a couple menus in case that made a difference.
Do you want a bug ticket, or is something you want to direct me to try from this forum?

    Laurie
