    Default Widget Container Colours

    Hi

    Can anyone tell me how to change the background container colour in the lower widget boxes and also how to change the colour of the permalnk headers in the pages without changing the colour of the side bar headers?

    Add this to css box in Socrates > Styling

    .widgetFrame {

    background-color: #FFF;

    }

    And then change color to your liking..

    It's easier to change the sidebar h2's once you get the color you want in the post/page titles.

    .widgettitle {color: #333}

    Hi Dan

    My apologies for the late reply, thanks for the info but after trying it I discovered the existence of the bottom navigation which wasn't immediately apparent and I decided that the lower widgets looked better in white anyway.

    I set the Post/Page title colour to a blue using the Styling tab in Socrates and added the Sidebar code (black)to the css stye sheet.

    this has worked OK for the page header in the home page and the side bar headers and also the headers in the lower widgets but if I click on any other page then the headers in the sidebar become blue instead of black.

    Should I be putting the sidebar code somewhere else as well?

    Can you share your link and example pages?

    Hi Dan

    Sure, the link is http://nichemarketingvaults.com but the site is in a very early stage of development.

    What I am trying to convey is this, if you look at the home page the permalink header is in blue and all the other headers are in black with all the links in blue, this is the scheme I want for the whole site.

    But if you click on any other link just the headers in the sidebar revert to blue instead of black.

    I just need to have all those headers in black.

    Once that is done I can't see any need to alter anything else.

    Thanks for creating such a marvellous theme

    Add this to custom css as well.

    .sidebar h2 {color: #000}
