    Default html headers

    hi Dan,

I sent you an email last week re: html headers but did not get a response.

I just signed up for a service that allows me to make banners and headers.

I would like to add html headers, but the upload is for images only.

how and where do I embed the code for a html header?

    thanks

    Mario,

It's rare I ever miss an email. Can you tell me where you sent it to? I'm no longer the admin@ contact. Fred is.. We also have a support desk for tickets as well at: http://socratesthemehelp.zendesk.com

If you're saying you would like to replace the Socrates header system with a custom one of your own it would involve some custom coding. My time is limited and am readying for a move cross country this weekend.

For custom work like this we recommend you hire a coder who can edit the files for you.

Can you tell me why you want an html header?

    Dan,

Thanks for your response. The banner maker software would allow me to make nicer headers with some animation. I just thought it would be nice if the header upload could allow us to paste or embed code like the widgets.

We have a couple of posts on adding Flash headers which is similar to this.. but your best bet is to just make a test install and play with adding your code in <div id="header"> and editing our header css.
