Theme Keeps Switching to WordPress Default Theme

Has anyone had this issue?

Socrates works great for a few days, then for no apparent reason reverts to the WordPress default theme instead of the Socrates theme. My workaround is to just re-activate the Socrates theme, but if there's a permanent fix to the problem I'd sure like to know what it is.

Please advise.

First I've heard this one. My gut reaction is that it is something with your hosting service unless you are making some other changes to the site (which it doesn't sound like) and those changes are somehow walking on your WordPress installation. WordPress shouldn't be switching themes on you.

I have spent a lot of time trying to find an answer to exactly the same problem.

The concensus amongst other forums is that it is a WP database error somewhere.

Doesn't look theme related as the error occurs with loads of other themes as well
