Change slider rotate time in magazine template

Hi there,

I may just be missing it but is there a way to change the time it takes for the magazine one slider to rotate to a new picture?

Any help is much appreciated!

Locate this file:

socrates/slider/jquery.nivo.slider.pack.js

Change animspeed settting.

In that file, you'll find about 60 references to animspeed....

Find this part of the code:

a.fn.nivoSlider.defaults={effect:"random",slices:1 5,boxCols:8,boxRows:4,animSpeed:500,pauseTime:3e3, startSlide:0

and Change the "pauseTime:3e3" to "pauseTime:Xe3" Where X = the number of seconds you want your slides to take

The original setting will be cached. So to test it open a new browser and you'll see it worked.

Hi Ebiz mom,

You need to log into C-Panel, and then go to File manager. Once in file manager locate this file inside the Socrates Theme files:


socrates/slider/jquery.nivo.slider.pack.js


Then follow the instructions above.
