How to activate 3.0
I have used Socrates prior to the new 3.0 version. Prior to this, with the older versions, I could find the place to add the activation code. With 3.0, I cannot figure out what to do, it is not obvious. Since I couldn't figure out how to activate 3.0, I deleted that version and uploaded an older version, 2.15, but it comes up showing as 3.0. I figured I would go with the past version that I understood how to activate. However, it seems that everything I am trying is coming up 3.0. Once I upload 3.0, where do I go to activate it with the Socrates activation code?

You would just goto the Wordpress dashboard to upload. If you upload an old version and see 3.0+ it just means that the version number and screenshot is cached in your browser.

Thank you, okay, yes, that was true for eventually the 2.15 did show up.
My question is with the 3.0...under the 2.15 under Layout I find the place to put the Socrates activation code.
The 3.0 does not look the same to me...where do I click to find the place to put the Socrates activation code.
I haven't used the 3.0 since I get stuck at the Socrates activation point...I would like to see how it is different, but I can't figure out how to access it. I do have the activation code, but don't know where to paste it.

You should see it when you click on Dashboard. If you don't see it, are you sure the site isn't already activated?

I found out what I was doing wrong. I was looking for "Dashboard" in connection with the word "Socrates" in the back admin WP area of the blog.
Dashboard is its own separate heading in the column on the left, at the very top on the left. I clicked on that, and scrolled down, and found the place to activate it.
It was a matter of not know where to find "Dashboard".

Hi Carlos,
Try removing the "Welcome" Message from Wordpress. just go to the top right corner in your WP Dashboard, and under page settings you will see an option to "un-check" the Welcome message.
Make sure you're looking at the WP Dashboard, not the Socrates tab.
