Upgrading from 2.1 to 3.03 error

Hi im getting this . Can anyone please help?

Destination folder already exists. /home/deals2k/public_html/themoneymakingmentor.com/wp-content/themes/socrates/

Theme install failed.

Follow the upgrade instructions on the download page. They include switching to another theme, deleting the old socrates, then installing the new version.

Thanks , I just renamed the last folder and then was able to install.
