Add Social Network Buttons to Posts

I would love to be able to add social network buttons to my posts.

There are countless plugins for that already. We added the social slider feature when we first launched.. However adding to posts is not really a good thing unless your site already gets a lot of traffic.

You're basically loading a resource hog that very few people will click. If that extra resource slows your site enough you can lose ranking and any visits you might get are negated.

Take a look at your average site with social network post buttons and counters.. They are almost zero or low counts. Is it worth slowing down your site because 100 people may like something on your site, post it on their wall and 5 people visit your site?

Or would you rather get an extra 50 people because your site loads faster..

Something to think about.
