Cannot change Page Title

Hi, I decided to change a page title but once I've edited and changed the name then updated when I preview my site the page title hasn't changed

Sounds like you have a caching plug-in running. If so the changes will show up after awhile (when the cache expires).

Hi Lynnth do you mean a plug-in that I have installed on my socrates theme if so how can I find out which one it is doing it

It would be in your list of plug-ins. Did the title change eventually?

The title has not changed yet -where I've edited the page with the new name that has changed but when viewing site it still has the old name how would I know which plugin is causing this?

Are you talking about the title in the header? There are two places titles are typically controlled. Settings > General and in Socrates case. Socrates > Headers

Make sure both are changed.
