    Default RSS title

I'm trying to submit some of my podcasts to different sites and they return a message that my rss feed isn't a valid feed. Rss validator says it is a valid feed. Upon further investigation I was told that my feed doesn't have a title. When I look at the page source code for my rss feed, it says <title></title> So I've Googled until my fingers are bloody trying to find out how to add the title to my rss feed page with no results. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    Thanks,
    Chuck

It would be helpful if you could share the feed. I assume it's a Socrates site since you're asking here?

There is no title. I'm not to good with WP and I have my own header so I removed the title from General Settings because it shows up over the top of my custom header. That's probably what's causing the problem, huh? Is there a work around?

By the way, thanks for the prompt replies. That's unusual these days.

PS. I have a houseful of company so I'm just checking in once in a while to see if there are answers.

Thus the problem. That is also the feed title.

Restore the title. The Socrates > Header title is independent, so if it shows up, just delete it and save from Soc Settings.

Thanks, Dan, that was quicker than I expected. I was still making an edit to the post and when I refreshed the page, there was your answer.

Ok, I tried it and everything is coming up roses. I guess that since the title in Settings/General had always interfered with my custom header using other templates, I just assumed (you know the old saying) it would do the same with this header.

So happy to have this solved.
