Menu Setup and Pages Not Working Properly

Hey guys,

I'm having problems getting my site menu function to work properly. When I type in the Custom Link URL and label and then add it to the menu, and then press the Save Menu button, the menu doesn't save anything that I input. Initially I get a box under the Primary Menu area that is about half the height it should be. After pressing Save Menue I get blank fields with a question mark symbol inside a black diamond. If I press the down arrow beside the word "Custom", the navigation label is blank and title attribute fields have the same symbol.

Another problem I'm having is the Page setup. Take a look at the Page setup screen and see how half the screen is truncated and not visible at all. Also the upload/insert button for media doesn't work on the Pages or Post setup pages. Can someone please take a look in my control panel and let me know what is going on. I have no idea what to try. Let me know and I'll email you my log-in info.

It's always helpful if you can include a link.

I would recommend upgrading Wordpress and any plugins you have running. Sounds like you have a plugin conflict to me.

So first thing to do is switch to another theme and see if the same problems occur..
Then upgrade any plugins if necessary, then upgrade Wordpress.

You can also try a reinstall of Socrates.

You can also try deactivating any recent plugins you've added to see if it resolves.

These are not problems we've heard of before, so something else might be out of whack.

I can tell you that one of my own Plugins caused the "insert media" bug before, so I know Plugins can do some crazy things.

Thanks for your response, Dan. I will try upgrading Wordpress as you've suggested and I'll uninstall the plug-ins and add them back one at a time to see if that works. After I do that, I'll reinstall Socrates as well and let you know if that resolves my issues.
