Should I use Keywords for All in One SEO on Wordpress?

I'm using the plugin All in One SEO by Semper Fi Web Design on a Wordpress site.

I've been looking into it and people are saying that meta keywords are useless and it's a waste of time including them.

So while using this plugin, should I bother filling in the keyword box? Is it a waste of time or does it work differently to meta keywords?

Any other tips for using this plugin?

They don't have the impact that they used to now that the search engines are pulling the keywords out of the context of your post text but I personally think they are worth it. Ever little bit helps. Just don't spam keywords and keep the keywords aligned with the content of the post or it will work against you.

Google do not really count the value of meta keyword tags and almost all search engine do not give importance anymore however I have not seen any disadvantage of using this tag if its use with search engine instructions
