    Default Adding vertical whitespace

    What's the best way to force the addition visible vertical whitespace, say between a final paragraph and a new section employing <H2> style?

    Is there a way to add whitespace in a manner that will persist, even if you toggle between viewing the HTML and Visual formats in WP?

    You can add padding to the .entry css in style.css

    .post .entry { color:#161618; padding-bottom: 10px; line-height:16px;}

    Increase to

    .post .entry { color:#161618; padding-bottom: 20px; line-height:16px;}

    You can also use our in post bottom ad block to add some html spacing.

    Default Selective Whitespace and resizing

    Thanks Dan!

    I guess it's time to start learning css.

    Is there a way to add additional spacing above content of a given style? Say an additional 5 px above every H2 paragraph?

    Is there a way to change the font size associate with a style such as H2?

    Do I run the risk of losing these changes if I need to update Socrates when a new version is released?

    And thanks again for your patient introduction and demo at AffCon2010.

    Not sure what you mean by H2 paragraph.. Do you mean you have full paragraphs that are h2'd?

    The H2 in posts are controlled in this section

    /* ------------------------------------- POSTS ------------------------------------------------------------------ */
    .post { padding:0px 0px 0px 0px; overflow:hidden}
    .post a { color:#336699}
    .post a:hover { color:#D45D2A}
    .post img { padding:0px 10px 0px 10px;}

    .post h1, .post h2, .post h3 { margin:0px 0px 5px 0px}
    .post h4, .post h5, .post h6 { margin:3px 0px 0px 0px}

    You can change the margins here...

    .post h1, .post h2, .post h3 { margin:0px 0px 5px 0px}

    But I'm sure of your desired effect..

    Here's a trick for updates.. If you customize the css put all your changes at the bottom of your css file.

    Then when we update you can just copy the bottom section and paste it into the new css file in one paste.

    We'll probably do some sort of custom.css mod in the next big release.

    Glad I could help at Affcon, not sure who you were... sure met a lot of great people there.
