Default Question about Removing Widget and other questions

    HI:

It keeps saying that I don't have permission to use this Forum, when I post the information below:

How can I change the current posts, when you login to the http://promoterpower.com/blog? I don't really want either of these articles to show on the front page of this site, but ONLY under the CATEGORIES, right under the opt-in form here. So how can I change that, to not show either article on the front page of this blog?

I just want information on what I do here, and NO Articles. So could I just do a Post on this front page of my blog, and Not Link it or Create Any Category for this, but just a Post? Then put the 2 Articles Posts under the CATEGORIES Section, just below the opt-in form, like it is already, and NOT show any articles on this Front Page of this blog?

Also, how can I put something like Copyright 2010, Promoter Power, in the Footer, just above the horizontal scrolling widget, at the bottom of my blog? I want it to be blue, font size 1, style Verdana. Could I put this in the Layout > Footer HTML box, right above the Widget Code?

    Thank you,

    Jon Lutz

    Jon,

What you want to do is create a page rather than a post with your static "home" page. Under settings - Reading select static page and pick the page you created from the dropdown list. Adding the HTML for the footer you want in the Socrates footer box should do what you want.
