How do I remove the Search Box from the navbar?

You chose not to enable our primary navbar for some reason, so in doing so it leaves a whitespace where the navbar normally is..

The easiest way to remove that space is to goto

Appearance > Editor > Style.css and locate

.im-nav { position:relative; background:url(images/completeNavBg.png) no-repeat; background-position:-5px 0px; width:980px; height:46px;

Change the height to 0px

I would like to move the search box, but it won't budge from it's position... as you can see, I put 0 for all the way to the left... and tried other numbers below the original positon of the search box (700px)- nothing happens...

Are you just trying to move the search box slightly to the left or all the way t the left. Can you tell me why you're moving it? That might help give solid answer.

I would like to exchange the search box with the Google Site search box - for that I needed to know how to manipulate the style.... all seems to be working fine now...
