How do I get my pages to show up on the primary navigation bar. The only ones showing are Home & About? how do I get "pages" and "archives" off the sidebar?
1. Click on the Navigation panel and add your links and titles to the fields provided.
2. Goto Appearance > Widgets, and drag widgets to the primary sidebar which will overwrite our default widgets.
Whenever I go into the navigation bar to add titles, the permalinks for some reason don't correspond with the navigation titles (in the navigation section). I keep getting the "404 not found" error when I test the permalinks in a new tab. I have tried shortening the permalinks but I still get the error.
For example on this page on the navigation bar it has: Forum home, contact, demo blog etc etc....how can I get this on my blog ensuring that it connects to the corresponding permalinks?
Are you dragging the URLs from the upper right portion of the page into the URL box and then putting the text you want in the matching box? Don't forget to hit save.
I am getting a "404 not found" screen when I click the link to a post on the nav bar. I have replaced the url 3 times and it IS the right url but when I click off the nav bar it reads:
The link to the post from the title on the home page works just not the nav bar link.
I'm not sure how this effects the software but I DID have a page with the exact url (don't ask me why) and I deleted that page permanently. Maybe that is throwing something off...
