I'm getting an Error Message

Hi Everybody

I'm getting an error message (Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /home/knielsen/public_html/wp-content/themes/socrates/single.php on line 1)

This happens when I click on Preview changes or view post when I'm in the WP editor. Also when I'm on the site and click on the post.

Can anyone help...
