    Hi,
New boy here. Installed Socrates a few time now and all OK, however on this blog how do I get rid of the about me etc. on the right hand navigation. I intend to have 10 different languages there so I don't want about me,blog, homepage or sitemap to appear. As I say this is the first time this has happened, must be me.
    Here's my url

    Thanks

If I understand the question you are looking for a way to have pages that don't show up in the pages list. I use a plug-in called Exclude Pages from Navigation. It provides a checkbox on the right hand side of the page editor that you can uncheck if you don't want the page included.

    Hi,
Thanks for that but I solved it by making them links instead. Works, now to put the new pages in and fingers crossed.

Obviously no links active at the moment.

    Thanks for quick reply.
Another question that may have been addressed already. I have been using the Expertwordpress theme since day one and they have in their code somewhere that limits the post to a few lines and then adds a [more] link, can this be done on Socrates?

    Tony,

This can be done manually in the post editor. There is a button on the toolbar that inserts the more tag. This way you have control over where it is placed.

    Hi Lynn,
Yes I knew that, I was just used to have it done automatically. Thanks
