How To Move the Posts to a Sub Page

Could someone help point me in the right direction.

I would like the main page to be a General Content Page, perhaps a sales page, and have the Postings be on a sub-page rather than the main page.

It there a way to do that ?

In other words, I would like to create a Wordpress site with the blog as a component of a much larger selection of activities.

So that the main landing page of the domain becomes more of a sales and navigation area.

One example I had in mind is a review site, with a blog somewhere inside to add depth and content.

If someone points me to where to read up or look up this info I would be thankful. Is this the right area to post this one ?

On the WordPress Settings - Reading page there is a selection for a static home page. Create a page using the default or Socrates page templates and then select it on this settings page.

hi,
this is my problem. the pages on my site shows incomplete content when i load the page. i need to use "no sidebar template" just to have the complete content. but what i need is a default template that will show all the content on the page.

and you'll notice that the amazon widget doesn't appear.

please help me. i really need a solution soonest as possible 'coz i can't continue building when i still have this problem..
