    Default How Do You Change The Text Colour Of The Page Break

    Can some one please help I have place a page break in my posts
    as Lynn says hit the more button, the text were it says
    'read the rest of this entry' I want to change the colour of that part of the text so it stands out, were in the stylesheet
    will I change the colour.

    I have tried .post a plus tried .post a:hover.

    I've spent 30 minutes on this and can't get it to work.

    You need to add a

    .more-link

    class to your styles.css, but I can't get the color to override the default.

    Here's some info from wordpress, hopefully someone else has a solution to it.

    OK, this works for me...

    In the Socrates theme files make these changes:

    Open index.php and find the line that says:

    Code:
    <?php the_content('Read the rest of this entry &raquo;'); ?>
    Change it to:

    Code:
    <?php the_content('<span class="moretext">Read the rest of this entry &raquo;</span>'); ?>
    Save the file and then open style.css

    At the very bottom of the file add:

    Code:
    .moretext 	{ font-variant:small-caps; font-weight:bold; color:#000000; text-align:left; font-style:italic;}
    Obviously you change the font variant, weight, color and alignment to suit your needs.

    My changes resulted in the 'more' links looking like this on my site:
