Default changing themes - keeping my header

    Hi
I love Socrates as a theme - It sets up really great and me - a non techie - can use it pretty easily.

My problem? Well I have a blog here http://petechapmanblog.com which I would like to upload Socrates to but I want to keep my header...and I am afraid that I will lose it if I go and upload the socrates theme to the blog.

How do I keep my header and have Socrates as my theme?

Any help would be gratefully received!

    Thanks

    Peter

    Peter,

Your old header will be in a folder under your old theme. Socrates will be installed into a new folder under wp-content/Themes. To feel extra safe you can download your old header before the install. Then just upload the old header as a custom header on the Socrates header page. If your existing header is larger or smaller than what Socrates is expecting you will either need to adjust it in an image editing program or tweak Socrates. There is a thread under Frequently Asked Questions on how to do the tweaking.
